Cinderella and the Golden Heart
Once upon a time, in a grand castle, there lived a kind girl named Cinderella. She was twelve years old and had a heart of gold. Cinderella cared for everyone she met—friends, animals, and even strangers. She lived in the castle with her best friend, Marry, and her loyal dog, Lola.
The castle was very big and beautiful. It had tall towers that reached the sky and colorful gardens full of flowers. The garden was Cinderella’s favorite place. She loved to pick flowers and share them with Marry, Prince, and Lola.
One sunny morning, Cinderella woke up and stretched her arms. “Good morning, Lola!” she said cheerfully. The dog wagged her tail and barked happily.
Marry joined them in the garden. “Good morning, Cinderella!” she called. “What do you want to do today?”
Cinderella smiled. “Let’s visit Prince! He lives in the castle next door.”
Prince was a special friend. He was brave and loved to help others. They often played games together, like counting the clouds or racing to the big oak tree.
As they walked to the next castle, Cinderella counted the steps. “One, two, three…” Marry joined her. “Four, five, six…” They laughed as they skipped along. Lola ran ahead, barking with joy.
When they reached Prince’s castle, they found him in the garden. “Hello, Cinderella! Hello, Marry!” he shouted. “Do you want to play?”
“Yes!” everyone said together.
They decided to play a game of hide and seek. Prince counted to ten. “One, two, three…” Cinderella and Marry hid behind a big bush. Lola lay quietly beside them.
“Ten! Ready or not, here I come!” Prince called.
Cinderella giggled. She loved playing with her friends. Suddenly, she felt something. There was a small creature under the bush. It was a tiny bird with a hurt wing!
“Oh no! This little bird needs help,” Cinderella said. “We should help it.”
Marry looked worried. “But how can we help?”
Cinderella thought for a moment. “Let’s take it to the castle. We can care for it there.”
Prince smiled. “That’s a great idea!”
With great care, they picked up the little bird and brought it to the castle. They made a cozy little bed in a box and put the bird inside. Cinderella found some seeds for food.
“I hope you feel better soon,” she whispered to the bird.
Days passed, and the bird slowly got better. Cinderella, Marry, Prince, and Lola took turns caring for the bird. They named it Sunny because of its bright yellow feathers.
One morning, after a week of care, Sunny flapped its wings. “Look! Sunny can fly!” Marry exclaimed.
Cinderella clapped her hands. “That is wonderful!”
Sunny flew around the room, happy and free. Finally, it landed on Cinderella’s shoulder. “Thank you, Cinderella!” Sunny chirped.
The friends smiled. Cinderella felt proud. “I am just happy to help.”
Just then, there was a loud knock at the castle door. “Who is it?” Prince called.
A man stood at the door. He was tall and wore a fancy suit. “I am the Royal Messenger,” he said. “I have news!”
“What news?” asked Cinderella, her eyes wide with curiosity.
“There will be a grand celebration tonight at the main castle!” the messenger announced. “All are invited! You can join and have fun!”
“Oh! We must go!” exclaimed Marry.
Cinderella nodded. “Yes! Let’s get ready!”
They rushed to dress up. Cinderella wore a lovely blue dress, Marry wore a green one, and Prince was handsome in his special clothes. Even Lola wore a little bow around her neck.
When they arrived at the castle, they saw beautiful lights and heard happy music. Everyone was dancing. The castle was alive with joy!
Cinderella laughed and danced with her friends. “This is so much fun!” she said.
Suddenly, they saw Sunny flying around the hall, bright and free. The guests below loved the sight and smiled. “Look at the bird!” they exclaimed.
Cinderella beamed with happiness. “Sunny is home now!”
After a while, the music stopped. A kind lady stepped up. “Thank you all for coming. This celebration is about caring for others!”
Cinderella looked at her friends. “That is what we did with Sunny,” she said.
Everyone clapped, and Cinderella felt proud of her kind heart.
As the night ended, they returned to their garden, under the stars. Cinderella looked at her friends. “Today was wonderful.”
“Because you are wonderful, Cinderella!” said Prince.
And from that day on, they promised to always share kindness and help all those in need. They knew that love and friendship could change the world—one little act at a time.
And so, Cinderella, Marry, Prince, and Lola lived happily, spreading kindness every day in their grand castle.
