The Giant’s Kindness

Once upon a time in the 1700s, a royal family found themselves stranded next to the towering Drakensburg mountains just beyond Petermaritzburg. Princess Charlotte Pillay, with her heart of gold, and her younger brother, Prince George Pillay, roamed the mountain slopes seeking sustenance while their parents, Queen Mary Pillay and King John Pillay, worked on fixing the broken-down cart.

Unfazed by the stories of the angry giant that lived in the mountains, Princess Charlotte led her brother through the rugged terrain. As they thirsted and searched for food, they stumbled upon a cave, and there, standing tall and gruff, was the giant. To their surprise, the giant welcomed them with kindness and offered them apples to eat.

Through the Princess's gentle aura, the giant's curse was lifted, revealing a lonely young boy who had been under the spell. Touched by the Princess's compassion, the boy longed for a family. Princess Charlotte, known for her caring nature, convinced her family to take him in.
