Max the Knight and the Midnight Quest

In a kingdom where the stars twinkled like diamonds, there stood a magnificent castle with towering spires that reached for the heavens. King David, wise and brave, echoed his wife's sentiment. “Max, outsmart him, just as much as you outpace him.”

With their encouraging words, Max felt a surge of determination. He raced across the castle, devising a plan to protect his family. Positively flying through the grand hall, he set up clever traps—marble boulders on pulleys, and a cascade of feathers that would distract George when he arrived.

As midnight drew closer, the castle’s walls pulsed with tension; Max stood ready at the entrance, heart pounding with the rhythm of bravery. Suddenly, a thunderous crash shuddered the doors—George had arrived!

“Step aside, Max! I seek the throne!” George roared, charging forward.

But Max, faster than a shooting star, leaped in front of him. “You’ll not harm the queen or king, not while I stand in your way!” Using his strength, he maneuvered the boulders to roll toward George, who soon stumbled in surprise.

Just as he recovered, the feathers flew all around him, tickling and distracting him momentarily. “What is this nonsense?” he sneered, frustration turning his face red.

In that instant, Max knew that cleverness won over brute force. “It’s a lesson, George. Kindness and teamwork can achieve far greater things than strength alone!”

Realizing he had been bested, George retreated in a flurry of feathers and half-hearted threats, having learned a valuable lesson about the power of unity over aggression.
