The Brave Adventures of Macbeth and the Three Witches

The third witch, wrapped in shadow, cackled, “You must prove your bravery first, young man! Each task will bring you closer to your goal—but beware, for the forest has its own challenges!”

The second witch with wild hair spoke next. “Your journey begins with a riddle, for knowledge comes to those who can think!”

With a twinkle in their eyes, the witches recited:

"In a house of stone so grand,
With walls that tell a tale so grand,
What’s the treasure that you seek,
A heart that’s brave and not for the weak?"

Macbeth furrowed his brow, contemplating the words. The answer was clear; it echoed in his heart. “The treasure is bravery!” he proclaimed confidently.

With a nod, the beast stepped aside, revealing the shimmering crystal nestled among the stones. Carefully, Macbeth took it, feeling warmth flow through him. With newfound confidence, Macbeth returned to the castle and climbed the winding staircase leading to the tallest tower. There, he found the heavy door that had always appeared closed to him. With trembling hands, he inserted the crystal into the lock.
