The Magician’s Ball
The Enchantress stood before Cinderella, a spark of magic in her eyes as she began to sing, "The ball's around the corner, So don't sit here looking drab, I can see you're the kind of girl, All the boys wish they had."
Cinderella blinked in astonishment, her heart pounding in anticipation. The Enchantress took her by the hand and led her to a magical domain filled with swirling colors and enchanting melodies. "Let's tidy up these pretty locks, And brighten up those cheeks, You've got the kind of face, That everybody has to meet," she sang, her voice soft yet powerful.
As the Enchantress waved her wand, Cinderella watched in wonder as her brown shoes shimmered and transformed into sparkling glass slippers. "You are truly magical," Cinderella gasped in amazement. The Enchantress smiled and continued her enchanting song.
One by one, Cinderella's simple peasant dress and accessories turned into elegant attire fit for a royal ball. Her yellow earrings morphed into dazzling diamond studs, a radiant diamond necklace adorned her slender neck, and she was draped in blue evening opera gloves with delicate yellow bracelets.
Her long, drab brown hair seemed to come alive, tying itself into an intricate updo with a small hair tie as the rest cascaded down like a silky waterfall. A single red rose nestled itself atop her hair, accompanied by a shimmering diamond tiara that crowned her head.
With a final flourish of her wand, the Enchantress summoned swathes of yellow and blue fabrics that danced in the air around Cinderella. "You are going to be breathtaking," the Enchantress whispered as she wrapped the fabrics around Cinderella in a cocoon-like embrace.
From her legs to her arms, waist, chest, and finally her head, the fabrics worked their magic, transforming her tattered dress into a magnificent ballgown. Cinderella marveled as her dress morphed into a vision of yellow and blue, complete with puffy sleeves, a voluminous skirt, and fluffy white petticoats.
As the last stitch of transformation fell into place, Cinderella twirled, her gown billowing and swirling around her in a mesmerizing dance of colors. With a graceful curtsy, she looked at her reflection in a nearby mirror, hardly recognizing the radiant princess staring back at her.
"Thank you, Enchantress," Cinderella whispered, her eyes shining with gratitude and newfound confidence.
"You were always meant for magic, my dear Cinderella," the Enchantress replied, her smile as bright as the stars above. And with that, the two set off towards the grand ball at the castle, where an evening of enchantment and wonder awaited them both.
