The Castle of Dreams

In a kingdom where dreams mingled with reality, stood a magnificent castle known as Eldoria. Its tall, shimmering towers pierced the sky, and the walls whispered secrets of times long past. Within its heart lived a clever girl named Maritza, only twelve, but brimming with wisdom that sparkled like the gems that adorned the castle. With deep brown eyes that twinkled with curiosity, she often wandered the enchanted gardens, dreaming of grand adventures.

One sunny afternoon, as Maritza read a book about brave knights and their noble quests, a shadow descended upon her—a dragon! With scales that glowed like molten gold and eyes like fiery embers, it captured Maritza and whisked her away to the depths of the dark forest beyond the castle walls. Inside the dark forest, Maritza felt fear creep into her heart, but instead of despair, she summoned her wits. "What if I outsmart the dragon?" she thought. She began to weave a tale about treasures hidden deep within the forest, enticing the dragon with the promise of riches.

He admired Maritza's brilliance and couldn't bear the thought of her in peril. Clad in shimmering silver armor, he charged into the dark forest, sword drawn and heart racing.

With every step taken, Fernando felt the weight of doubt, but the thought of Maritza's clever mind spurred him on. He finally found her, sitting calmly, spinning her tale. The dragon, enchanted by her words, was momentarily distracted, allowing Fernando to step in.

"Fear not, fair maiden," he declared, his voice steady and strong. "You shall not be held captive any longer!"

With a swift movement, he brandished his sword, not against the dragon, but to shield Maritza. The dragon, realizing it had been tricked, roared in anger, but Maritza, unfazed, continued her tale—this time about how courage and friendship were the true treasures.

Impressed by her bravery, the dragon paused, softening. "Perhaps I have been too hasty," it rumbled. "I too wish for a friend."
